Photos from Maybe If

2 wonderful shows. 2 different conductors. 2 delightful flavours. 5 sensitive & creative performers. Many wonderful stories from the audience. Thank you for being part of "Maybe If".

Warming up in the afternoon before the show.

Going through the paces for our opening stories.

Our musician Ying.

Today's colour is blue...

Laura, our wonderfully sensitive actor.

Jerry, one of the longest serving members of Tapestry.

Our audience members getting to know one another, by shaking hands with one another, winking, and a special sound and action greeting!

Playing a game with the audience before the show begins proper. We love our sporting audiences!

A Pair of Feelings.

What is your Maybe If?

3 solos. That wail in the box was unforgettable.

That moment, when we're all connected to one another. That moment, when we're connected by a story one of us shares. That moment, when there is no other.

Maybe If

Maybe if I remembered

Maybe if I forgot

Maybe if I said something

Maybe if I had not

Maybe if I left

Maybe if I stayed

Maybe if I gave up

Maybe if I prayed

Maybe if I came to a playback show today

Maybe if I told my story today.

Maybe if I listened today.

Come share your stories as we playback to the theme of Maybe If.

Watch and listen as your stories come to life with movement, word, music and cloth!

Playback Theatre is an improvisational form of community theatre, that honours the individual voices, and builds community through the commonalities in our stories.

August Open Rehearsal & sharing of TPG

Dear friends,

Join us for our Open Rehearsal from 7pm to 9:30pm on 30th August, at the Toa Payoh Central Community Club Dance Studio.

This time round, we will also have a short sharing of our experience performing, and attending workshops, at the recent Taiwan Playback Gathering in July.

We welcome one and all to join our little community in exploring and practicing Playback Theatre in an open, safe and informal space.

Come and try out the different roles in Playback - the musician, the story-teller and the actor!

But do book your slot fast, because as much as we hope to accomodate everyone, our space is limited. Go to www.amiando.com/ORAug now!

The event is free, but please help support the practice of this community-based theatre with a small donation when you come.

This event is supported by Toa Payoh Central Community Club and PassonArts.

The Countdown Begins. Maybe If
