thank you for your support and encouragement this past year. We've had a grand old time, connecting with you, playing together with you, and sharing delightful stories with the community!
In 2011, we will have to look for a new space to call home. To celebrate our journey in our current space, and in honour of all who have been a part of our 2010, we're inviting you to our last open rehearsal (for 2010) on Sunday, 7th November.
Do come and and join us in exploring Playback Theatre and its myriad forms and games.
As is our custom, we offer an informal, fun and safe space to practise your skills, learn more about Playback and share your stories.
Our last Open Rehearsal for 2010 is now open for registration (limited spaces!).
More information can be found at our blog at tapestryplayback.blogspot.com and on our Facebook page.
Due to limited space, do email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to indicate your interest. See you 7th Nov!
Playback Theater is a unique form of improvisational theatre that engages people to share their stories or moments from their lives, and gives them an opportunity to see their stories recreated immediately on stage.
It combines the oral traditions of storytelling, the use of rituals, deep listening skills and various performing styles.
Essentially, Playback Theatre uses the arts as an act of service to affirm each person's uniqueness, and at the same time, builds and strengthens our connections to each other as a community of people.
