The Sesame Approach

The Sesame Approach is founded by the UK Drama and Movement Therapy Pioneer, Marian R. Lindkvist in 1964. This therapy approach is based upon Jungian Analytical Psychology, with the integration of myth and story, drama,Laban dance and movement, physical touch and use of voice.

This is an oblique approach using symbols and metaphor to achieve expression and internal dialogue with the unconscious, so to accomplish psychological growth and therapy.

The 3-hr sampler workshop is not a full course, but it will give you the opportunity to experience and explore the Sesame Approach. You will be participating in drama and movement activities like improvisation, dance and role play that allow participants to self-explore and experience this approach in a safe, relaxing and natural environment.
