Photo Review of Tapestry in 2012 (6)

As the year is drawing to an end, we thought we'd look back and celebrate the many moments of our 10th year! A great big thank you to all who have connected with us in ways big and small. We look forward to meeting old friends and new in 2013!

Here are pictures from Centre for Playback Theatre School Asia 2012 - Singapore from 28th Sept to 7th Oct.

From 28 September to 11 October in 2012 the Centre for Playback Theatre hosted its first multi-course training in Singapore.

Over these 12 days we had three 4 day/4 night courses – Social Awareness with Pamela Freeman, The Art & the Heart of the Story with Aviva Apel-Rosenthal, Active Conducting with Kayo Munakata; and two 3 day/3 night courses – Models of PT in Schools with Kao Yu-chen, and Multicultural Multilingual PT with Veronica Needa.

49 participants from Australia, Bali, Bangladesh, mainland China, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan attended.

Here's Jerry Berry from Tapestry dancing with Aviva Apel-Rosenthal from Israel.

We connected with friends new and old. Here's Michael with participants from Singapore, Taiwan and China.

“The flow of learning was so well paced and organic, blended experience with what came with the participants. Specific learning to embrace truthstay with itlet it guide the choices, and the details take care of themselves.”Laura Lane Chirnside Schuster (The Art & Heart of the Story)

“It was like a dream. In playback, dreams come true! This was a changing event for me. Thank you all and thanks for everything.” Reza Aziz (Social Awareness, The Art & Heart of the Story, Models of PT in Schools)

Tapestry Playback Theatre also put on an internal performance in ser the participants. The theme was If I Could.

It was an honour to perform in front of our friends from the playback world. And it was especially nerve-racking in some ways too.
